Virtual Patients: Forestry worker with white fingers

Concise description:

This Virtual Patient lesson is a learning case about a forestry worker. He complains about fingers turning white, numbness and problems moving them properly. Besides it unables him regularly to work and causes him pain. Step by step, it is educated how a state-of-the-art diagnosis and tests should be performed. Besides, legal issues and compensation is dealt with. The lesson consists of text, illustrations and questions. Before one can continue, these questions (open or multiple choice) must be answered, where after the feedback can be checked. The lessons can be followed and displayed online only.

After choosing “User Subscription” (left menu) and accepting the website’s policy for registering and storing some user data, different lessons can be chosen, presented in English, German or Spanish. The present lesson is given in English and German.
